The school district also said there will be no early release. Typically on Wednesdays schools get out 45 minutes early to allow for staff training and preparation time for teachers.

The district has used up all its contingency days for smoke and snow days this year and if another full snow day is called, the district would have to come up with another option to make up the missed time.
