4:46 p.m. update:
The Antelope Fire was mapped at 29 acres on Sunday and was 70 percent contained, according to the Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center.
2:33 p.m. update:
A wildfire burning grass in the Cold Springs area grew to 35 acres on Sunday, according to Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue.
The Antelope Fire’s spread was slowed thanks to fire retardant dropped on it by firefighters and by being boxed in by roads, according to the Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center.
Crews continued to work on the fire’s edges Sunday afternoon.
TMFR says the fire did not threaten structures. Its cause is under investigation by the Bureau of Land Management.
