While there is a first day of school date, there are lots of questions as the Washoe County School District aims to open more than 100 schools in a month.
Closed since March, the district will navigate an uncertain start to the school year where there are still many unknowns.
The district will try to answer as many questions as they can in a live virtual forum from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The district submitted plans to the Nevada Department of Education and is waiting for approval.
The plans included a full-time elementary school schedule with middle and high school students rotating between class time and distance learning.
