Mahogany Fire remains at 0% containment: See a map of the blaze on Mount Charleston

The Mahogany Fire, despite being reduced from 5,000 acres to 3,040 acres in size due to more accurate mapping, remains at 0% containment, according to an InciWeb update.

The fire, which started Sunday afternoon on Mount Charleston, quickly spread due to high winds, according to authorities.

The blaze resulted in evacuations, road closures, issues with power and made the Las Vegas Strip barely visible Sunday night.

Dust and smoke from the Mahogany Fire made the Strip barely visibly Sunday night.
